Luther League existed until the 1970s as an organization designed to involve teenagers and young adults in the church. It provided opportunities for young Lutherans to:
learn and grow in Christian faith
engage in service to the church and the community
explore vocational goals
develop leadership potential
The Luther League Fund has been established by the ELCIC to create a bridge between generations of church members. Those who were young in the twentieth century can offer a helping hand to twenty-first century youth.
The LLL Fund develops leaders in the church and for the world by providing grants and bursaries so that young people can participate in leadership training and development activities that might not otherwise be available to them.
The direct beneficiaries of the fund are young people (under the age of 25 at the time of application) who are members of an ELCIC congregation. The indirect benefits will be experienced by the congregations and communities to which they belong. Indeed the Church in all its expressions will benefit from your generous donation for years to come.
Add your gift to your regular congregational giving and designate it to LLL Fund
