View, contemplate and ponder visions of the sacred while at prayer in St. John's Chapel.
Selected items of art from our National Church collection are part of the backdrop to the chancel in St. John's College Chapel, offering a representation of the holy for our daily morning Eucharist and evening prayer services as well as for delegates and visitors to use for individual prayer, meditation, or for quiet time.
The art from different places in the world reflects a variety of cultural backgrounds. Intended to move you and hopefully provide ways for you to envision the profounder love of God nearer to the core of your being. Feel free to spend time in the chapel throughout the day Friday and Saturday.
Both the artists and their gifts are a treasure of our church. A complete listing of all the works on display is in the Worship Book.
