The 2019 ELCIC National Convention will take place July 11-13, 2019 at the University of Regina in Regina, Saskatchewan. The ELCIC acknowledges that we will be meeting on Treaty 4 land, the traditional territory of the Cree, Saulteaux, Nakota, Lakota and Dakota peoples, and the homeland of the Métis people. We remember that we are all Treaty people.
The ELCIC has prepared a survey asking for your feedback on the 2019 National Convention. The online questionnaire touches on various aspects from convention including supplied material, business meetings, guest speakers, exhibitors, meals etc.
Please click here to make your submission. Information from your survey response will be used by the planning committee for future conventions.
All videos shot at convention, including sermons and special guest presentations can be found by following this link.
ELCIC National Bishop Susan C. Johnson has prepared a sermon for use on the Sunday following the National Convention, July 14. While traditionally prepared for used by a lay leader in the absence of a rostered minister who has been selected as a delegate for convention, all congregations are encouraged to use this message from our National Bishop.
Elections will be held at the 2019 ELCIC National Convention for vacant positions on National Church Council and for the Court of Appeal. Please see the attached document for further information and an overview of the positions.
