In the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, each synodical Committee for Theological Education and Leadership (CTEL) provides support and guidance for persons who are interested in serving as professional leaders. Throughout the years of preparation, the synodical committee and the candidate have the opportunity to work as partners in making career decisions.
