Anglican Foundation of Canada pledges $25K to Indigenous youth for CLAY 2023

The Anglican Foundation of Canada (AFC) has announced a $25,000.00 grant in support of Indigenous youth for attendance at the 2023 Canadian Lutheran Anglican Youth Gathering (CLAY: Ashes & Embers) to be held in Waterloo, ON. from August 10-13.

“I was thrilled to learn of the $25,000.00 grant from the Anglican Foundation to assist Indigenous youth in attending CLAY,” said ELCIC National Bishop Susan Johnson. “This highlights both the depth of our full communion relationship with the Anglican Church of Canada and our ongoing commitment to working towards reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada; it will certainly enhance the experience of the youth attending CLAY. Thank you so much to the generous donors of the AFC for making this happen.”
