Every year on July 30, the United Nations (UN) recognizes World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.
This international day was proclaimed by the UN’s 2013 General Assembly, which coincided with the 2013 ELCIC’s National Convention commitment to address human trafficking.
The ELCIC stands alongside the UN and others in lifting up World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.
Our Full Communion partner, the Anglican Church of Canada also has a number of resources on addressing human trafficking, including Freedom Sunday.
