Over the past few weeks, members of the planning team for the 2020 National Worship Conference from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) and the Anglican Church of Canada (ACC) have been monitoring updates as coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to escalate.
After much discernment the planning team shares that the National Worship Conference, originally scheduled for July 13-16, 2020, will be postponed to the summer of 2021.
The planning team expresses its gratitude, “for local and national leadership who have worked very hard over the past year to develop a rich offering of worship, music, education, and workshops. This work will not go to waste, but will continue over this coming year.”
For those who have registered for the 2020 conference, all fees will be refunded.
The 2021 conference will remain in Ottawa. Further information on the dates for the 2021 conference and an announcement of the Companion of the Worship Arts recipients will follow.
