Matters of justice and reconciliation are long-term challenges that require time, patience, persistence, and commitment. The ELCIC works in effective partnership with other churches and organizations that show love and care for God’s people and God’s world. Public witness is offered though social statements, resolutions, and study papers, helping to,
“respond publicly to social and moral issues as an advocate for justice and as an agent for reconciliation.”
